Pick your own flowers, Saturday 15th February

Flower Picking - Saturday 15th Feb, 8:30-10am

There’s something deeply satisfying about picking your own flowers — I’ve often heard it called food for soul.

Wander through the field, enjoy the birdsong, watch the actual billions (I’m sure) of bees bumbling around, and have a chat with the rogue chicken who is more dog than chook and will follow you around.

Because it is Valentine’s week I’m limiting the picking options to jars to ensure I have flowers for everyone! So two sizes to choose from…

  • Small jar (byo or buy one from me for $3) — $20

  • Big jar (byo or buy one from me for $5) — $30

Some important notes…

  • Wear sensible shoes. The ground is uneven and grassed or mulched. (But feel free to dress up the rest of you! Everyone seems to love wearing a frock in a flower field)

  • If you’re filling a bucket (I provide these) please bring your own vessel to transport your flowers home

  • I will provide gloves and snips for cutting

  • Allow yourself 30-45 minutes to cut your flowers (especially for the buckets) and please do not arrive after 6:30 – I’ll be hustling everyone out promptly at 10am!

The not-so-small print…

In the event of inclement weather or other issues, your booking can be postponed to a later date, or I will pick the equivalent flowers and you can collect them from the farm.

In the event I have to cancel a picking date, you can choose to have a refund or the equivalent value in flowers picked for you at a later date.
